Event
The Reading Triathlon, Aquathlon & Aquabike 2026 is organised by Tri2O Triathlon Club. The next race date is 13/09/2026. Entries for 2026 are open. The event is held at H2O Swim Centre, Pingewood, Reading, RG30 3UN. The Reading Triathlon was first held in 1983 at Kirtons Farm Water Sports Centre and is still run at the original venue.

Course and access
The swim takes place in open water at the Hi5 Open Water Swim Centre. The cycle follows local lanes around Burghfield, Mortimer, Silchester, Stratfield Saye and Grazeley. The run is on a lakeside trail. The venue is close to the M4 motorway, about a 10 minute drive from junction 11. It is also about a 10 minute walk from Green Park train station. There is no car parking at the event venue; the designated car park is a 10-15 minute walk away at 100 Longwater Avenue, Green Park, RG2 6GP.
Practical and sustainability notes
Participants must bring their own swim hat. The organiser offers the option to purchase a swim hat and a collapsible cup at registration. The event does not provide free participant T-shirts and has removed plastic cups from the water station. Volunteers and supporters can take part in event duties.
