Reading Triathlon, Aquathlon and Aquabike : 13 September 2026
The Reading Triathlon event returns to the Hi5 Open Water Swim Centre at Reading Lakes Hotel, Pingewood, RG30 3UN. The event is organised by Tri2O Triathlon Club and is held at the original venue where the first official British Triathlon National Championships took place in 1983. A permit is listed as in progress.
The programme includes multiple race options across triathlon, aquathlon and aquabike formats. Swim stages take place in open water on the lake and transitions are short, with a typical transition distance of about 65 m. Bike courses are on undulating roads and run courses combine flat off road sections with some closed road sections. Raceday facilities listed include parking, showers, changing, toilets, catering, chip timing, finishers medals, prizes and published results.

- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750m, Bike 22km, Run 5.4km
- Standard Triathlon: Swim 1500m, Bike 40km, Run 10.8km
- Sprint Relay Triathlon: Swim 750m, Bike 22km, Run 5.4km
- Sprint Aquathlon: Swim 750m, Run 5.4km
- Sprint Aquabike: Swim 750m, Bike 22km
- Standard Aquabike: Swim 1500m, Bike 40km
