Folkestone Coastal 10k
The Folkestone Coastal 10k is an established 10 kilometre road race that runs along the seafront from Folkestone towards Hythe and then returns. The course is a flat promenade route, traffic free and chip timed. The event is UKA registered and recent editions have included a virtual option.
The event base and registration are at the eastern entrance of the Coastal Park on the promenade, near the bottom of the Leas Cliff Lift (CT20 1PR). The carpark in this area is closed for race use and there is no car parking available at the Coastal Park on race day. Parking is available at Folkestone Harbour or within the town and participants walk to the start. Full instructions are provided after registration. No headphones are permitted.

Entry fees vary by category and date; a virtual entry fee is listed as £25 and the children's race fee is listed as £5. T shirts are available by pre order. On race day there are refreshments, sports massage and a small running shop.
Every finisher receives a medal. There are spot prizes, team and corporate team prizes, and cash prizes of £150 for the first male and first female finishers sponsored by SAGA. The event supports local and international charitable causes and works with The Sports Trust and a range of community beneficiaries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
