About the race
Sporting Events UK presents The Wingham Run, held at Wingham Recreation Ground in Kent. The event offers 5k and 10k routes, officially measured, with an undulating course that winds through quiet country lanes and some of eastern Kent’s prettiest villages. Now in its 38th year, the race is famed for its village atmosphere and an Event Village next to the start/finish.
A distinctive feature is the only race in the world with medals handmade by Canterbury Pottery. Facilities include toilets, car parking and refreshments. The 10k is open to runners aged 15+, and the 5k to runners aged 13+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
