Folkestone Rotary Half Marathon
The Folkestone Rotary Half Marathon is organised by the Folkestone Rotary Club and is scheduled for 27 September 2026 in Folkestone, Kent. The event includes a Half Marathon and a Junior Run. It is a fundraising event; all proceeds and individual fundraising are donated to local charities. A charity entry option includes a £5 donation to the Folkestone Rotary Club.
Course and logistics
The course is accurately measured and starts outside The Grand on The Leas. The route passes through the coastal park and follows an out-and-back section to Hythe. Most of the route runs along the promenade and is described as relatively flat, with a couple of hills including a notable climb in the final mile. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available.
Race headquarters are at The Grand, The Leas, Folkestone, CT20 2XL. Organisers recommend parking at the Leas Cliff Hall car park, about half a mile from the HQ; limited parking is available around the hotel. The closest railway station is Folkestone West; trains are limited on Sundays.
