Wye Not Wander
Wye Not Wander is an event based at the Village Hall on High Street in Wye, Ashford, Kent. The route explores the countryside where the Stour Valley cuts through the North Downs and offers views of the Wye Crown carved into the chalk for the coronation of Edward VII.

Entries open Monday 9 March 2026 and close Friday 18 September 2026. Entries recorded so far number 77 participants. There are no on the day entries. Entry fees listed are: 27 miles £15 members, £22 non-members; 20 miles £13 members, £18 non-members; 15 miles £11 members, £18 non-members.
Hot and cold drinks and food are provided at all checkpoints, with a meal at the finish. Finishers receive a certificate. All entrants must carry their own mug or receptacle; none are provided. Participants are advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing and to carry a map, mapcase and compass. OS Explorer maps 137, 138 and 150 (1:25,000) or OS Landranger 179 (1:50,000) are needed to cover the route. Route descriptions must be carried and will be available from the Kent Group website together with .gpx files.
