About the race
9runrun Ottawa is a community running event held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Village Square Park in Stittsville. The event is a fundraiser for the Ottawa First Responders Foundation and supports Ottawa fire, paramedic and police personnel.
The event offers a range of distances:
- 21K (Half Marathon)
- 10K
- 5K
- Family 2K
Registration includes a custom 9runrun medal, a personalized race bib, professional timing, free downloadable race photos, and post-race snacks. Course maps are provided for the 10K and 5K. Race bib pick-up and onsite registration details are to be announced.
Practical notes: strollers are permitted only on the Family 2K and should start at the rear of that field. All participants in the Family 2K must be registered. Volunteer opportunities are available for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
