The Nashville Turkey Trot is a chip-timed Thanksgiving morning run in Nashville, Tennessee. The event offers multiple distances and a Kids Dash, with all courses entirely on paved road or trail.

Finish-line items include a commemorative finisher medal for all finishers and local donuts provided at the finish. Participants receive event gear with a choice of a classic t-shirt or an upgraded thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Volunteers receive a free event shirt.
The race supports Special Olympics Tennessee. Results from this event are aggregated into a national Thankful Turkey leaderboard. Results and race photos are posted after the event.
Logistics and participant services include packet mailing (limited availability, fee applies), pre-event packet pick-up (details posted two weeks prior), and event-morning packet pick-up with an expected short wait. Virtual participants receive virtual packets 1 to 2 weeks after race day and may submit virtual results. There is no gear check on site. Water stations provide water only. Headphones are allowed but not recommended. Dogs are not permitted; strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only with an accompanying waiver.
Course time limits: 10 Mile - 2 hours 20 minutes; 5K - 1 hour 30 minutes. The event runs in variable weather and may be delayed for dangerous conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
