Mercy Franklin Classic
The Mercy Franklin Classic is a community road race organized to benefit Mercy Community Healthcare. The event offers several race distances and a kids run, and proceeds support Mercy programs and services that provide primary and mental health care.
Race options include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K combo by completing both the 10K and 5K
- 1K Kids Run with a medal for each child finisher
All registrations include a race shirt. Published registration fees list prices for each distance and for a shirt-only option. Registration fees are non-refundable; the organizer does not issue refunds for cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control. Results are delivered through race timing software by email and text after finishing.
The event provides awards for male and female 10K and 5K competitors across multiple age groups, plus Masters and Grand Masters categories, overall fastest awards, and recognition for wheelchair athletes. A Kids Zone accompanies the 1K, offering games, face painting and treats. Free parking is available at local parking garages and on nearby streets. Volunteers are requested for event setup, course monitoring, water stations and the Kids Zone.
