About the race
9 to 5K in Nashville combines a city 5K with a novelty Stiletto Dash along Music Row, with start and finish at Tony Rose Park. The event lists a separate kids run and a finish line festival at the same location. The course may be changed or rerouted by city authorities or the Nashville Police Department.
Distances and special formats:
- 5K
- Stiletto Dash - 30 yard dash in heels while carrying a full coffee mug
All 5K and Stiletto Dash participants receive a participant shirt at packet pickup and a finisher medal at the finish. The 5K has a one hour time limit. There is no age limit and walking is permitted. Dogs on leash are allowed on course.
Registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable. Transfers between distances are allowed with payment of any cost difference; transferring to another individual carries a $5 fee. Registration remains open until packet pickup closes on race morning or the event sells out.
Packet pickup occurs in the days before the event at local Fleet Feet locations and The Graduate Hotel, with race day pickup available at Tony Rose Park. The event lists awards for top three males and females overall and across multiple age categories. The organizer notes charity and sponsor partners and invites volunteer support.
