Dakotah Sport and Fitness Turkey Trot 5K
The event uses a closed 5K course on the rolling hills of The Meadows at Mystic Lake golf course, located in the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Organizers indicate the course is suitable for first-time 5K runners, families, and groups.

The 5K entry is sold out while limited spots remain for the Kids Half Mile Fun Run. Parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to run with their children and do not need to register to run with them.
Packet pickup and race chip distribution take place in the gymnasium of Dakotah! Sport and Fitness at 2100 Trail of Dreams NW. Doors to the gymnasium are on the west side of the building and non members may not walk through the facility to enter. Parking is available in the Dakotah! Ice Center parking lot on the east side; volunteers direct participants to the gymnasium doors.
After the race participants may use post race refreshments in the gymnasium. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top finisher in each age group with no double dipping. Strollers are allowed but must remain at the back of the pack. Animals are not permitted at the races.
An early registration promotion included a $10 discount plus Dakotah! branded sweater, sunglasses, and a refillable water bottle. If the event is held as advertised refunds are not issued and race packets will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
