Victory Races
The Victory Races return to Minneapolis on Labor Day weekend. The event takes place along Victory Memorial Drive and uses a course that is flat and straight. All race distances are USATF certified. The route starts on Webber Parkway, proceeds west to a flagpole, and continues south to the turnaround point at Lowry before returning to finish near Webber Park.
Participants can choose from several individual distances or take part in combined challenges:
- 10k: A race starting and ending at Webber Park.
- 5k: A flat out-and-back course starting and ending at Webber Park.
- Doubleheader: A participation option where runners complete both the 10k and the 5k back-to-back on the same day.
- Kids Run: A short distance event for younger participants.
- Victory Lakes Voyage: A combined challenge requiring completion of the 5k, 10k, and the City of Lakes Half Marathon within the same week.
All participants receive a finisher medal, chip-timed results with live tracking, and access to free downloadable race photos. Post-race activities include food and music at the finish line. Doubleheader participants receive an exclusive shirt, while those completing the Victory Lakes Voyage receive a commemorative challenge medal. The event also serves as a fundraiser for local nonprofits in the Minneapolis community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
