Hopkins Royal Triathlon
The Hopkins Royal Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026 at State Shady Oak Beach in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This is the 12th annual edition of the event.
Participants may enter one of two main race formats. The Sprint follows a standard sprint triathlon distance. The Mini Sprint lets athletes choose from multiple distance options for each segment.
- Sprint: 750-yard swim, 12-mile bike, 5K run
- Mini Sprint swim options: 750, 250, or 100 yards
- Mini Sprint bike options: 12, 8, or 4 miles
- Mini Sprint run options: 5K, 2.5K, or 0.01K
Registration fees listed for the event include a Sprint entry at $70, a Mini Sprint entry at $55, and a VIP Charity Slot at $111. The VIP Charity Slot offers main lot parking and priority bike rack placement in the transition area; the fee is noted as directed to volunteer youth groups. Registration deadlines are given through August 28 at 11:59 PM US Central.
