August 2026
The 5K out and back course starts near the McCormick Event Center and crosses the Sinnissippi Dam Walking Bridge. The route follows a recreational path west to a turnaround near 16th Ave and 2nd St in Sterling and runs alongside the running races..
Walkers can join the 5K Run/Walk course of 3.1 Miles starting at 16 S. Wesley Avenue, Mount Morris IL 61054, alongside the running race. Registration fee is $30 and registration by August 12 guarantees a t shirt.
Walkers take the 5K route starting on the track at Amboy High School. The relatively flat, USATF certified course winds past the elementary and old junior high schools, through the Sports Park, and finishes by the historic train depot.
September 2026
Walkers can choose 5k, 10k, or Half Marathon routes starting along 5th Avenue South in Historic Downtown Clinton. Routes follow Riverview Drive along Mississippi and include hill climbs to Eagle Point Park with scenic river overlooks.
A 1 Mile family walk from Imperial Lanes, 1823 S Washington Blvd, Camanche, IA, suitable for all ages with children 10 and under free. T shirts can be picked up Saturday at Speak Out or at the venue on event day, and pets are not allowed.
