Clinton Half Marathon
The Clinton Half Marathon is an annual running event in Clinton, Iowa. The 15th edition is scheduled for September 13, 2026. Runners can choose from three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The course begins along 5th Avenue South in Historic Downtown Clinton, follows Riverview Drive alongside the Mississippi River, and includes hill climbs that lead to Eagle Point Park and its overlook of a wide section of the river. Each finisher receives a finisher medal. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 500 registered participants.
Age group awards are offered for each distance. Age categories cover youth through 70 plus for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. Awards are given for first through third place overall and for first through third place in each age group. The first place overall winners receive cash prizes as follows: Half Marathon $100, 10K $50, and 5K $25. Runners must be present at the award ceremony to receive prizes; participants may decline prize money.
