Clinton Half Marathon
The 15th Annual Clinton Half Marathon takes place on September 13, 2026 in Clinton, Iowa. The event offers multiple race distances and runs through parts of the city along the Mississippi River.

The course begins on 5th Avenue South in Historic Downtown Clinton, follows Riverview Drive parallel to the Mississippi River, and includes hill climbs that lead to Eagle Point Park and its overlook of the widest part of the Mississippi River. Registration is handled through a third party secure registration service and registrants receive email confirmation. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 500 registered participants, and the event provides participant items and finisher medals.
Age group divisions are provided for youth and adult competitors, extending into 70 plus categories, with separate groupings used for different distances. Awards are presented for first through third overall and first through third in each age group. Cash prizes are listed for first place overall in each distance: $100 for half marathon, $50 for 10K, and $25 for 5K.
