August 2026
Walkers can do a 1 mile out and back on the scenic General Dacey Trail in Forest Park, Shelbyville. The walking option takes place alongside the Tom Short 5K trail race and includes post race refreshments and a family pool party.
Walkers can choose a 2 Miles Fun Walk or join the 5K Run/Walk, both starting at St. Anthony High School in Effingham. Early registration is $30 by July 21 and packet pick up is Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturday from 6:00am to 7:30am.
October 2026
The walking option is a 1 Miles walk that starts and finishes at the Oconee Firehouse and follows scenic small town streets through Oconee. Registration includes a race bib, event t shirt, finisher's medal and post event refreshments and snacks.
