The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra
The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra is a multi-day track ultramarathon held at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida, over the weekend of January 29 to 31, 2027. The complex provides 24-hour access to locker rooms and bathrooms, shaded bleachers, ample parking, and infield space for tents and crew stations.
The event offers timed track races in multiple durations:
- 48 hour The Big Hoot
- 24 hour The Little Hoot
- 12 hour The Bulldog
- 6 hour The Frenchie
The event is sanctioned by USATF and the course is certified, making performances records eligible. No pacers are permitted on the track; participants under 14 may have a pacer for a limited time with prior approval from the race director. Direction changes on the track occur periodically.
New for 2027, team competition is available for the 48 hour and 24 hour races. Team scoring combines the distances of the top three runners per team to determine placements. Team divisions include all men, all women, and mixed. Team entries should include a team name at checkout.
On-course support includes an aid station with standard foods and hot food available for 24 hour and 48 hour participants. Participants and crews may camp in the infield and set up personal aid stations. Awards include finisher medals for all finishers, special buckles for 100 and 200 mile completers, and top male and female prizes in each event.
The event accepts non-perishable food, blankets, towels, and unopened dog food donations for local organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
