Rock the Climb: 2nd Annual
Rock the Climb returns to the Seminole Hard Rock Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, Florida on September 11, 2026 as a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. The event serves as a tribute to the heroes lost on September 11, 2001 and raises funds for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie. It is hosted by the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie in partnership with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Participants include firefighters in full turnout gear, firefighters climbing without full gear, and members of the general public. Full gear is defined as Helmet, Bunker Jacket, and Pants. Some firefighter categories also involve breathing apparatuses. Climbs are offered in three distances:
- 110 story climb
- 72 story climb
- 36 story climb
All registered climbers receive a race package that includes a personalized race bib with an RFID timing chip and an event exclusive dri fit shirt. Finishers receive a commemorative medal and a swag bag. The event also provides refreshments after the climb and recognition for participants who complete their chosen course.
