King of the Hill 5K
The 20th Annual King of the Hill 5K Challenge is a community running event held in 2026 at Vista View Park, 4001 SW 142nd Ave, Davie, Florida. The race is a 5K distance and traces its history to a first edition that began with about 60 participants.
Awards are given in multiple categories, including Male and Female Top 3 Overall, Masters Top Male and Female Overall, and age group awards that start at 14 and Under and continue through 75 and Over. The event lists a registration fee of $25.00.
The organizer states a weather and refund policy: the race is planned to be held rain or shine, but races may be postponed or canceled for inclement weather. In the event of lightning the start will be postponed for 30 minutes from the last lightning strike. If a postponement exceeds 60 minutes the event will be canceled.
