Krampus Krawl at Maryland International Raceway - 5k and 10k
The event takes place on December 13 at Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, MD. It offers two measured road race distances held on the raceway surface.

Points for both distances count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and they also count toward the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
The course is flat and paved on the raceway. Water stations are located at the 5k/10k turnaround and at the start/finish; for the 10k there are additional water stations near mile markers 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65. Restrooms are available at the start/finish line and portajohns are onsite. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and a QR code at the race provides immediate access to results; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event.
Registered runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received before December 2; extra shirts may be available afterward on a first-come basis. Race day registration and packet pickup are available at the event. Registration fees vary by distance and increase after November 30 and again on race morning.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second in standard age groups. The Back of the Pack is a scoring category for runners with slower average paces and is not a course cutoff time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
