St. Charles Running Festival
The St. Charles Running Festival takes place in Waldorf, Maryland, offering participants the choice between two distances on certified courses. The event includes both a 10K and a 5K race. Both routes are described as flat and scenic, guiding runners through the various developments and communities of the St. Charles area.
The event starts and finishes at the Regency Furniture Stadium, home of the Maryland Blue Crabs. Following the races, a post-race celebration called the "Taste of Southern Maryland" is held within a designated Festival Village. This area is free and open to both participants and the general public.

The Festival Village features a variety of local restaurants and food trucks offering items such as barbecue, pizza, pasta, and desserts. In addition to the food vendors, the area includes interactive games, live music, and various local exhibitors. Families can access a dedicated Kids Fun Zone which is equipped with inflatable games and other interactive activities designed for entertainment throughout the morning.
