2027 MBNA Chester 10K
The MBNA Chester 10K takes place on 14 March 2027 and is organised by Active Leisure Events Ltd. It is a city based 10 km race that starts and finishes in the centre of Chester at Chester Racecourse, New Crane Street, CH1 2LY. The route passes several of Chester's landmarks, runs north-west out of the city through the village of Mollington, and returns to finish in the heart of Chester near the Eastgate Clock.
The event is the 10th edition and is held under UK Athletics rules with course measurement by the AUKCM. The minimum age on race day is 15. UKA affiliated runners receive a £2 discount at checkout. Entry types include a Green Runner option; Green Runners do not receive a medal, t-shirt or goody bag and the cost of those items is donated to the event charity. Race places can be transferred to another runner subject to the organiser's transfer process and an administration fee.
Before race day entrants receive access to training plans, free training runs and a personalised race pack with race number and timing chip sent by post for UK runners. On race day the event provides a technical t-shirt for finishers, a bespoke medal, a goody bag with post race nutrition, prizes for top finishers, on course hydration, medical support, free official photos and a live tracking service for supporters.
