The Cheshire 100 Ultra Run
The Cheshire 100 Ultra Run follows the Cheshire Canal Ring, starting in Northwich and organised by New Era Community Boxing, a community interest company based in Northwich that has offered training and support for young people since 2011. The event route follows the canal ring and was developed to promote that corridor.
Entry is open to participants aged over twenty. No formal qualification is required; previous marathon experience is listed as sufficient. Runners must be able to maintain a rate of progress consistent with an overall time limit of 36 hours. The race includes checkpoints, accessible support for crew or buddy runners, and detailed maps with pre-race guidance to assist navigation.
The event is scheduled for early September and offers a low cost entry rate with an optional duo ticket for two entries at a reduced rate. Organisers provide pre-race advice and support for participants. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
