Liverpool Women's 10K & 5K - Sefton Park
The event is a women-focused road race held at Sefton Park in Liverpool on 05.09.2027. It continues the tradition of the city's original Women's 10K first organised in 1980 and is marshalled by women with an emphasis on connection and shared strength among participants.
Two distances are offered:
- 10K
- 5K
Both routes loop around Sefton Park and pass the lake; the 10K continues past Sefton Park Palm House before returning to the finish, while the 5K follows a similar but shorter route.
Included with entry are chip timing, a goody bag, a finisher's t-shirt, and a finisher's medal. Entrants must be aged 11 or over on race day for the 5K and 15 or over for the 10K. Race numbers will be posted in the weeks before the event; unreceived numbers can be collected on race day from the Race Office. Participants with a postal address outside mainland UK may collect their number from the enquiry tent on the morning of the event.
The event village and all race facilities are within Sefton Park. There will be baggage storage at the start/finish area, water stations handing out bottles along the course, a first aid station at the start/finish plus roaming first aiders, and toilets at the start/finish. Parking is available on Aigburth Drive, Croxteth Drive, or Mossley Hill.
