About the race
This event marks the 11th year of the race and raises donations to fund scholarships for underrepresented graduate students pursuing a masters in Speech Language Pathology. The event includes in-person locations and a virtual option, with activity in Charleston and Columbia.

Charleston participants are to meet at the Park Circle Pavilion at 4800 Park Circle, outside the bathroom and water pavilion next to the playground. Columbia participants are to meet at the College Place Building, 4801 Colonial Drive, Columbia SC 29203. Registration opens July 24, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026. The registration fee is free.
