Labor Day 5K Run & Walk - Charleston
The Labor Day 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 7, 2026, at Palmetto Island County Park in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, located at 444 Needlerush Parkway. This event is a revival of the Labor Day 5K that had previously been organized with Daniel Island Happy Hour Events before COVID and has moved to the county park.
The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Registration opens July 10, 2026, and carries a fee of $25. Registration is limited to 250 entries and will close once that limit is reached.
Race packets will be available for pickup on race morning. T-shirts can be purchased during registration for $5 to $8. The event will be held rain or shine and registration fees are nonrefundable.
Awards are planned for the top three overall finishers and for winners in Masters and Grand Masters categories, plus five-year age group winners, with separate male and female awards where applicable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
