About the race
The Dell 10km and Half Marathon take place on April 19 at Dummer Down Farm in the Hampshire countryside and are organised in conjunction with Dummer Down Brewery, whose Dell lager gives the event its name. The weekend features two trail races that use private farmland, trails, woodlands, fields and some local roads, and includes a canicross 10 km option.
Distances:
- 10 km canicross and runner entries
- Half Marathon two-lap route measuring 13.5 miles
Course details note 80–90% off-road terrain and an elevation gain reported between 163 m and 319 m. Water stations are provided on course with a cupless arrangement; finishers receive a medal, a pint cup and a free drink from the taproom with alcoholic or non-alcoholic options included. Timing is by chip and the event offers race photos, prizes, toilets, free onsite car parking and a bag drop.
Logistics include a camping option for Saturday night, a race guide published in advance, and online entry windows subject to capacity. Minimum ages are 16 for the 10 km and 18 for the Half Marathon. The event also supports fundraising for Sebastian's Action Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
