Andover Trail Marathon
The Andover Trail Marathon is a trail running event in North Hampshire on 05/09/2026, based at Kings road, Enham Alamien, Andover (SP11 6HP, postcode for the car park). It offers both a full marathon and a half marathon on waymarked countryside routes.
- 26.2 miles Marathon following the Testway up to Coombe Gibbet then returning via the Conholt estate.
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon loop to Hurstbourne Tarrant and back to Enham.
The course rises to a maximum elevation of 280 m and includes steep climbs and long downhill sections with views over meadows and valleys. The organiser marks the route the day before the event. Major road crossings are marshalled and full medical support is provided along the routes.
Aid provision differs by distance: the marathon has three staffed aid stations while the half has a well stocked halfway station. The event uses chip timing and awards finisher medals; prizes are given to first, second and third male and female finishers. There is a Military Cup competition reserved for serving military personnel, with teams of up to four runners; units may enter multiple teams and the fastest accumulated team time wins the trophy.
Cut-offs are stated for each distance and the event includes on-course signage and marshals to assist runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
