Overton 5 - Sunday 6 September 2026
The 37th edition of the Overton 5 takes place on Sunday 6 September 2026 as the second fixture in the Hampshire Road Race League. The event is a 5 mile road race over an undulating course on road and pavement that runs through country roads around Overton.
The route features rolling hills and sweeping views and is largely on closed roads. The event includes measures to reduce waste and has a stated focus on environmental friendliness. Finishers receive a unique memento.
Event administration follows UK Athletics rules under UKA licence number 31291. The maximum number of entrants is 600 and the minimum age for competitors is 15 years. Entries close on 4 September 2026. Transfers were permitted up to 4 September; no deferrals or refunds are available. Race numbers must be collected on race day no later than 10:15. Competitors may receive official chip times by text message if they provide a mobile number and consent.
