The Dragon 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk
The event is the 20th annual Dragon Run, held Saturday, September 26, 2026. It includes a timed 5-kilometer run and a separate one mile walk. Distances offered:
- 5K run
- 1 Mile walk
Race T-shirt pickup is scheduled twice: Friday, 9/25 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Kingsway High School Main North, or on Saturday, 9/26 beginning at 6:30 AM at Swedesboro Hall. Awards will be presented immediately after the run on the stage across from Boro Hall.
Proceeds benefit the Nathaniel Boerlin Scholarship Fund, with a portion designated to support the Kingsway Education Foundation. The event lists 2025 scholarship winners and maintains course records for the event course; the listed record times are 15:13 for the male course record (2013) and 18:26 for the female course record (2008).
