Event details
The Philadelphia Labor Day 5K and 10K take place on Monday, 7 September 2026. The event location is 2451 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130. The races start in front of the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The course runs through historic streets and along the Schuylkill River. Each mile is marked with distance flags and marshals will guide the route. An event village will be on site with food and drink options and post-race refreshments.

- 5K (free via lottery)
The 5K is offered free through a lottery. One lottery entry is allowed per email address. Multiple lottery rounds are scheduled: Lottery 1 closes 13 July 2026; Lottery 2 runs 14 July to 3 August 2026; Lottery 3 runs 4 August to 18 August 2026; re-allocation occurs 21 August 2026. Entrants who do not receive a place are automatically re-entered in later rounds. There is also a paid option to guarantee a 5K place through a donation and paid entry options for the 10K.
