About the race
The Run the Vineyards - William Heritage Labor Day event takes place at the William Heritage Winery in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. This athletic gathering features a scenic trail course through manicured vineyard rows and rolling hills. The event includes professional chip timing for the competitive distances with instant results and awards.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
- 1 Mile Kids Race
The 5K course is open to both runners and walkers, though walkers are requested to start behind the runners and maintain a one-hour time limit. The 1 Mile Kids Race is specifically designed for participants aged 14 and under, and finishers in this category receive a medal. Adults and those aged 15 and over may participate in the 1 Mile Walk.
On-site amenities include a water station along the course, with water and bananas provided at the finish line. Post-race activities feature live music and a wood-fired pizza food truck. Registered participants in the 5K and 1 Mile Walk who are aged 21 and over receive a complimentary glass of wine and a commemorative stemless wine glass. High-quality technical shirts are provided to participants, with various sizing options available.
