Stride for a Cure: 5K Walk/Run
Stride for a Cure is a community 5K walk and run in Little Rock that supports breast cancer awareness and local screening efforts. The event is held at 521 President Clinton Avenue, Little Rock, AR, and net proceeds benefit the Arkansas Cancer Coalition for cancer education, prevention, and screening programs.
The event offers multiple registration options: a 5K Fun Run/Walk (no chip timing), a 5K Competitive Run (chipped timing), and a 5K Girl Scout Fun Walk (18 and under only). Current listed registration prices are $35 plus processing for the Fun Run/Walk and Competitive Run, and $25 plus processing for the Girl Scout Fun Walk. Participants who register by September 3 will receive an official race day shirt.
Awards and finish items include an overall award trophy for first place male and female, a finisher medal available at the finish line, and post-race snacks, refreshments, and entertainment. Medals must be picked up on race day and will not be mailed.
Packet pickup is available Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at A Kick Above - Personal Training Studio, 12400 Cantrell Road #3, Little Rock, AR 72223; limited pickup is also available race morning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am.
