45th Annual ARK 5K Classic
The 45th Annual ARK 5K Classic takes place on September 5, 2026, in North Little Rock, Arkansas at 5001 Northshore Dr. The event features two divisions over a 3.1 Miles course: a standard running race and a wheelchair/handcart division.
Registration is available online and in person. A standard registration fee of $20.00 is listed for preregistration, with a higher in-person or race day fee of $35.00. Packet pickup is offered the day before at Rock City Running in Little Rock and on race morning; packets include the timing chip.
The race uses chip timing with a shoe chip. Participants must wear a front-facing bib and return the shoe chip after the finish. Failure to return the shoe chip will result in a $25 fee. Shirt options include adult tank or t-shirt choices and youth t-shirts; shirt selection is part of registration and there is a deadline in August 2026 to guarantee a shirt.
Awards are given for overall top finishers and age categories, including masters, grand masters, seniors, and multiple age-group brackets. Top wheelchair finishers receive awards.
