Paint the Path Purple for Pancreatic Cancer 5K
The 501 Sole Runners present the inaugural Paint the Path Purple for Pancreatic Cancer, a community event in Little Rock, Arkansas, held 11/14/2027 through 11/20/2027 at 5900 Rebsamen Park Rd. The event aims to raise awareness, support advocacy, and provide assistance to families affected by pancreatic cancer.
The program includes in-person and virtual options. Distances offered:
- 3 Miles in-person 5K
- 1 Mile in-person 1 Miler
- 3 Miles virtual 5K
- 1 Mile Kids 1-Miler, 12 and under
- 3 Miles Kids 5K, 18 and under
Registration fees and included items vary by event. In-person race registrations may include a race bib, timing chip, commemorative shirt, and finisher medal. Some virtual and kids event registrations include a commemorative shirt, finisher medal, and flat-rate shipping. Participants may upload virtual results using tracking devices such as Strava, Nike Run Club, or Garmin.
A Remembrance Marker option allows purchase of personalized yard signage that will be placed along the race course to honor and remember those affected by pancreatic cancer. Team registration is available with options to create or join a team. Proceeds from the event will assist families navigating pancreatic cancer treatment.
