Paint the Path Purple for Pancreatic Cancer 5K
Paint the Path Purple for Pancreatic Cancer is an inaugural community event presented by the 501 Sole Runners in Little Rock, Arkansas. The event raises awareness about pancreatic cancer and directs proceeds to assist families navigating pancreatic cancer treatment, easing financial and practical barriers.
The event program includes multiple race options and a remembrance program along the course. Registration for in-person races includes a race bib, timing chip, commemorative shirt, and finisher medal; participants must be present on race day to receive all items. A virtual 5K option includes a commemorative shirt, finisher medal, and flat-rate shipping; virtual participants may upload results using tracking devices such as Strava, Nike Run Club, or Garmin. A Memorial Mile will honor those who have battled pancreatic cancer. Remembrance markers are personalized yard signs placed along the course to honor loved ones.
Team registration is available so individuals can join or create teams for group participation. The event also includes youth categories with separate fees and awards as listed in event details.
