Ogopogo Extreme Triathlon
The Ogopogo Extreme, Ogopogo 3500 and Ogopogo Relay are triathlon events scheduled for Sunday 5 September 2027. Registration opens 1 September 2026. The event takes place in the Okanagan region and combines lake, road and mountain terrain.
The course begins with a swim across Skaha Lake of 3.8 km. The bike leg follows rolling roads through wine country and orchard areas, with sustained climbing that totals 3100 m of elevation gain as the route approaches Apex Mountain Resort. The final portion is a mountain run over alpine trails and ridgelines with 1675 m of run elevation gain.
The route crosses a variety of environments, including lake shoreline, vineyards and mountain summits, and includes paved and unpaved sections. The relay option divides the same course among team members. A race manual and event information are available from the organiser prior to the event.
