About the race
The Penticton Beer Run takes place on October 3, 2026 and follows a scenic route along the KVR trail and the lakeshore in downtown Penticton. The course is approximately 7.5 km and visits at least ten breweries and four local eateries, with additional surprise cidery stops noted for the event.
Participants receive a minimum of ten brewery tastings, eatery stops and water on the route, and a beer at the finish line. The event includes a finish line party in the park with live music, food trucks and other on-site entertainment. The 2026 edition is the tenth annual event and features a new loop course and a new Beer Run swag item.
The organizer notes there is no bus to the start and that partial proceeds from the event are donated to local outdoor youth programs run by a community partner. Accommodation partners and special rates are listed for the event. Fees for tastings are tiered by date: Early Bird until Feb 15 at $115, Regular Feb 16 to Aug 15 at $135, and Last Call Aug 16 to Oct 1 at $155.
