About the race
The Penticton event includes an 8.2 km trail race and a 3 km fun run held on October 4, 2026 at the Carmi Recreational Trails area near Beaver Dell Road in Penticton, BC. The 8.2 km race is the second race in the Starting Block Interior Running Association Trail Series.

The course uses dirt roads and short single track sections. There are no water stations on course so participants must carry their own water. Porta potties are available at the start area and medical support will be on site. Race numbers are available on race day only. After the races there will be refreshments, awards and draw prizes.
Online registration closes at 6 PM on October 3, 2026 and there is no day of race registration. Entry fees listed are CA$30 for the 8.2 km event and CA$10 for the 3 km event. Competitive BC Athletics members pay reduced fees; BC Athletics training memberships do not qualify. Dogs are not allowed on the run and bringing a dog will result in disqualification.
