Event Information
The Three Blind Mice 50K/25K is a trail run held in the Three Blind Mice trail network, just outside Penticton, British Columbia. The event offers two distance options: 25K and 50K. The idea for the race originated from discussions about organizing a local fundraiser.
All registration fees go directly to Penticton Search and Rescue, a volunteer organization. The course is entirely on single-track trail, with some technical sections and other flowy parts. The start and finish are at the Poplar Grove Road parking lot.
Practical Details
The elevation gain is approximately 3400 feet for the 25K and 7000 feet for the 50K. Two fully stocked aid stations are provided. Drop bags are allowed for 50K runners. All finishers receive a medal and a race souvenir. A post-race BBQ is held. The cut-off times are 6 hours for the 25K and 11 hours for the 50K. Parking at the start/finish area is limited.
