Kelowna Indoor Triathlon - Wild Rose Women's Events
The event is a women's indoor triathlon held on March 21st, 2027 at H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre in Kelowna. The format is divided into heats; each athlete completes three timed segments with transitions between them.
Participants complete timed pool laps using any stroke, a coached session on a stationary spin bike, and a timed walk or run on a designated grass area outside. Swim lanes are organized with swimmers of similar pace and lifeguards and volunteers are present. A group leader accompanies each heat to provide directions and support during the event. Passing in the pool is managed by tapping toes and stopping at the end of the lane to allow a pass.
The event is open to ages 10 and up. Athletes receive an official race bib, a commemorative finisher's bracelet, a post-race massage, and a post-race smoothie. A gear checklist and a free training program are available for download. Spectators are welcome in designated viewing areas; access is restricted for some parts of the venue.
Registration fees vary by date and include taxes and fees; fees increase in later registration windows. There are no refunds. Registrations may be rolled over to the next year for a fee before March 1st, or transferred to another athlete for a fee up to the day before the event. Volunteer opportunities are available.
