Fast Days of Summer 5000 and Mile
The event takes place on the Rail Trail near Leckie Place and Dilworth Drive in Kelowna, BC (1525 Dilworth Drive). It includes certified road races and a kids fun run.

- 1 mile
- Untimed kids fun run by donation
The 5 km race is limited to 200 entries. The 5 km course is chip timed and certified (BC-2019-010-PTBA). The one mile race is also certified for 2026 (BC-2022-019-PTBA). The 5 km will be eligible for IRA 2026 points standing.
Race package pickup is available early at Play Store (101-1950 Harvey Ave) and on the day of the event at the Rail Trail near Leslie Place and Dilworth Drive. Parking is available south of the start area near Rusty’s Sports Lounge and surrounding lots.
All entry fees and donations support the UBCO Heat cross country program. Registration closes on September 5, 2026. Entry fees listed for this event are CA$40 for the 5 km, CA$22 for the one mile, and CA$50 to enter both races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
