Haunt Park 5K
The Haunt Park 5K is a chip timed running event held on October 3, 2026 at Kalamazoo Speedway, 7656 Ravine Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The course runs through parts of Haunt Park before the park opens to the public and uses a mix of pavement, two tracks, and gravel pathways.
The route begins in the area known as Psycho Ward and continues through corridors and haunted pathways before moving off pavement. The finish includes a full lap around the Kalamazoo Speedway oval with the finish area located in the pit, where live music, food trucks, and post-race activities are scheduled.
The race is limited to 500 participants; a waitlist will be used once the cap is reached. Registration opens June 21, 2026 and closes July 2, 2026. The registration fee is $40.00. Bib pickup and final registration are available on race day.
Registered participants receive an official finisher medal, an event T-shirt (guaranteed for registrations received by September 12, 2026), a custom collectible race bib, and eligibility for awards for overall male and female champions as well as age-group awards. An optional discounted pass for park attractions will be offered to runners and attendees after the run.
