Zombie Trail Fun Run : Tyrone, PA
The Zombie Trail Fun Run is scheduled for October 24, 2026 at Camp Anderson, 1057 VanScoyoc Hollow Rd, Tyrone, PA. The course is an approximate 2 mile loop around the Camp Anderson grounds and is held as an untimed, family-friendly trail event. Runners, walkers and volunteers acting as zombies participate on the same course.
Participants wear flag football belts and race bibs. There are marked Zombie Zones on the route where zombies may attempt to remove runners' flags. Flags must be visible on the sides of the body and bibs must be worn on the front. Zombies may not use deliberate physical force and may only remove one flag per runner while in a zone. Direct and deliberate physical contact between any runner and any zombie is prohibited.
General event rules include no weapons, no drugs or alcohol, and no pets on the property. Photographers may be stationed along the course and participants agree to possible use of images from the event. There will not be an official race timer; participants may time themselves if they wish.
Proceeds benefit the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library & Camp Anderson. Awards are listed for fastest overall male and female, survivor male and female, best dressed runner, and scariest zombie. Registration includes a short sleeve shirt in youth S-L and adult S-XL, with limited zombie spots and a multi-person discount for four or more registrants.
