Houtzdale Revitalization Association Gobbler Run 5K Fun Run
The Houtzdale Revitalization Association holds its 3rd annual Gobbler Run, an untimed, family friendly 5K run/walk open to all ages. The course uses the same route as the Houtzdale Days Fireman's Challenge course and is presented as a community activity that emphasizes camaraderie and exercise.
Registration opens July 11, 2026 and closes November 14, 2026. The registration fee is $25 for participants aged 13 and over; this includes a race tee shirt for those who register by November 1. Participants aged 12 and under may register free but do not receive a complimentary tee shirt. Tee shirts are available for purchase for $18.
Proceeds benefit the memorial pavilion at 600 Good Street and other Houtzdale Revitalization Association projects. Each participant is eligible for a prize drawing, with chances distributed at in-person registrations on November 14, 2026. The event takes place in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, at the pavilion on Good Street. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
