Houtzdale Revitalization Association Gobbler Run 5K
The Houtzdale Revitalization Association presents the third annual Gobbler Run, an untimed, family friendly 5K run and walk on Saturday, November 14, 2026, in Houtzdale. The route follows the same course used for the Houtzdale Days Fireman's Challenge.
Registration is paid for participants age 13 and over; the fee is $25. A race tee shirt is included for those who register by November 1. Participants age 12 and under may enter at no charge but are not eligible for a complimentary tee shirt; a tee shirt may be purchased for $15. Registration opens July 11, 2026, and closes November 14, 2026.
Proceeds support the local memorial pavilion and other projects of the Houtzdale Revitalization Association. Each registered participant is eligible for a prize drawing, with chances provided during in-person registration on November 14, 2026.
Event check-in and race activities take place at the memorial pavilion at 600 Good Street in Houtzdale. The event is presented as a community activity intended to promote exercise, local pride, and camaraderie among participants of different ages and levels of activity.
