Houtzdale Revitalization Association Gobbler Run 5K Fun Run
The Houtzdale Revitalization Association Gobbler Run is the association's third annual untimed 5K run/walk for all ages. The course follows the same route as the Houtzdale Days Fireman's Challenge course.
The event is family friendly and aims to promote camaraderie, exercise, local pride, and recreational activity for participants of varied ages. It is presented as an untimed community event rather than a competitive race.
The event is centered at the David Wulderk Memorial Pavilion, 600 Good Street, Houtzdale, PA 16651. Registration opens July 11, 2026 and closes November 14, 2026. Fees are $22 for participants 18 and older and $15 for ages 13 to 17. Participants 12 and under register free but do not receive a tee shirt. A race tee shirt is included for registrations completed by November 1; additional tee shirts are available for purchase for $15.
Each participant is eligible for a prize drawing; chances are distributed at in-person registrations on November 14, 2026. Proceeds benefit the David Wulderk Memorial Pavilion and other Houtzdale Revitalization Association projects. Donations are accepted.
