Book It for Huntingdon Library : November 15, 2025
The Tyrone Race Series will hold the Book It for Huntingdon Library event on November 15, 2025, at Rails to Trails Alexandria Trailhead (Alfarata Station), Lower Trail, Alexandria, PA 16611. The event benefits the Huntingdon County Library, which was founded in 1935 and offers print materials, programs and technology to local residents. The start and finish lines are located at the trailhead.
Course, events and registration
Events include:
- 5K Run
- 2 Mile Walk
- Kids Sprint (50-100 m)
The course is an out-and-back on a rolled crushed limestone trail. The trail is described as extremely flat. Timing will be provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. Check-in and day-of registration are available on race day. Early registration by October 31 guarantees a long sleeve shirt. Registration typically includes a long sleeve shirt and a race goodie bag in youth S-L and adult S-4XL.
Fees listed by the organizer include early and day-of amounts for adults and students, and separate early-registration pricing for the kids sprint with or without a shirt. The organizer notes the race may be postponed for inclement weather and that awards will follow the events. Sponsors are listed at different support levels.
