Perry Wellington Turkey Trot
The Perry Wellington Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Hollidaysburg, PA, at 1111 Hewit St. This is the 22nd annual event and includes three distances:
- 5 Mile Run
- 2.5 Mile Run
- 2.5 Mile Walk
The 5 Mile course starts at the YMCA, runs up Brush Mountain Road, follows a route through Hollidaysburg and turns left onto Hart Street from Union Street, with start and finish at the old main entrance to the YMCA. The 2.5 Mile course runs through the Hollidaysburg community, begins with a challenging hill and is flat toward the finish. Road marshals will be present to direct participants.
Registration, packet pick-up and awards
Entry fee is listed as $26 for each event; the price increases after November 14, 2025. T-shirts are provided to the first 500 registered racers. Online registration closes the day before the race at 11:00am on Friday, November 28. Race packets are available for pick-up Friday, November 28 from 5:00am to 9:00pm at the Blair Regional YMCA, and on race day at the venue.
Awards are given immediately after the race. Medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5 Mile run and overall male and female in the 2.5 Mile run and walk. Age-group awards for top three male and female finishers cover ages 6-8 through 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
