Zombie Half Marathon : Anchorage Running Club
The event is a one way half marathon from Goose Lake to Kincaid. The route runs along the West Chester Creek Lagoon and joins the coastal trail to finish at Kincaid Chalet.
Runners are encouraged to wear zombie costumes for this late season event on the Coastal and Chester Creek trails. The races are held regardless of weather and trail conditions. Personal pacers without a bib and personal bike leads are not permitted.
A two person relay is offered as a new option, entered as a team. Team entry for the relay is $80 per team. Individual entry fees for the half marathon are listed as Pre-Registration $50 and Race-Day Registration $60. Race entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Bib pick up is scheduled at Anchorage Brewing Company and at Goose Lake; Anchorage Brewing Company is donating one dollar for each Zombie Brew sold. A course map is provided by the organizer.
