2027 Tri Flake Winter Triathlon
The event is a winter triathlon held at the main race stadium of the Kincaid Park nordic center in Anchorage. The format features three snow-based disciplines staged from the stadium and on nearby trails.
Course details include an out-and-back run on the Coastal Trail, a multi-lap snow bike course using the Raspberry Road multi-use trail and STA single-track, and a freestyle ski loop on Kincaid's nordic trails. The finish is in the stadium in front of the timing shack.
Distances for the event:
- 6K run on the Coastal Trail
- 13K snow bike over two laps
- 6K freestyle ski over two laps
There are solo entries and team entries for teams of two or three. Registration opens 2026-09-28 and closes 2027-01-01. Listed registration fees are $65.00 for solo entries and $135.00 for teams. A $5.00 discount applies to active and retired military personnel and to ATC members who are paid for 2027. The listed price increases a few weeks before the event. Once registered, no refunds are offered.
Weather and trail conditions may change the final course and distances on race morning. If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond organizer control, registered participants are offered a deferral to either the 2027 Hammerman or the 2028 Tri Flake.
