Snow Globe Run - Anchorage
The Snow Globe Run takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, on the Campbell Creek Trail behind the Peanut Farm restaurant in Anchorage, AK. The event offers these race options:
- 4K Run/Walk
- 4K Snowshoe
The course is a 4K out-and-back along Campbell Creek Trail, heading south for 2K before turning around. The start and finish are on the trail and are accessible via the Peanut Farm overflow parking lot south of the former Sourdough Mining Company. The course is described as flat with little in the way of hills.
A Zoo Critters themed costume contest is scheduled before the race. Prizes supplied by the Peanut Farm will be awarded for best Male, Female, and Group costumes. A portion of race fees and all online donations will be donated to the Alaska Zoo. Presenting the tear-off from the race bib provides daytime admission to the Alaska Zoo; Zoo Lights are not included.
Bib pickup is available at the Peanut Farm on the day prior to the race and on the morning of the event at the race site. All participants receive a finisher medal. The top three men and top three women finishers will receive prizes from the Peanut Farm. Dogs are not allowed at the event. Strollers are discouraged; participants who use a stroller are asked to start in the back. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
