The Rudolph Run
The Rudolph Run is a community running event held in December at Strasburg Elementary (140 N. Bodmer Ave., Strasburg, OH 44680). The event includes a 5K Run/Walk, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a Shirt Only option. Proceeds benefit the Strasburg PTG to fund student events, equipment upgrades, playground items, and teacher requests.

Event details
Published entry prices list the 1 Mile at $25, the 5K at $35 and the Shirt Only option at $20, with prices increasing after December 12. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. All finishers receive medals based on student artwork. Participants registered before 11/25/2025 are guaranteed a T-shirt; remaining shirts are distributed first-come, first-served. Available sizes include youth X-Small through adult 3X-Large; a no-shirt option is available with a discount.
A "Cash for Christmas" raffle gives each registrant before 11/25/2025 one entry; raffle prizes are $500, $250, and $50. Additional raffle entries may be purchased ($10 each or 3 for $20); winners are drawn during the awards presentation and need not be present. Awards for the 5K include top three men and women overall, top three in age groups (12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over), plus prizes for Best Christmas Theme Human and Best Christmas Themed Dog.
