Event overview
The ZigZag 2025 Turkey Trot Challenge takes place on 22 November 2025 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. It is a six-hour timed event run on the Back Quack route. The course is described as undulating and multi-terrain. The event uses a mass start and participants run repeated laps from a Race HQ/Base Camp located at the start and lap point. An aid station is available at the base camp and is accessible each lap. Runners may complete distances such as 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, or ultra-marathon depending on how many laps they cover. Participants may rest between laps.
Logistics and entries
Maximum entry is 300. Minimum age is 18 years. Entries close 20/11/2025 and transfers close 15/11/2025. Parking is included with entry. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own bottle or cup for refilling. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or may choose a lucky-dip finisher medal from previous events. Upon entry participants receive an email confirmation that includes a link to the race briefing information pack.
