Event overview
Turkey Trot is a six-hour timed event at the Suffolk Running Centre, IP29 5AX. Participants run laps of a 10.5 km loop that mixes road and trail and uses the BACK QUACK route. The event offers a range of distances including short distances up to ultra distances; participants may complete official 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon or longer distances within the six-hour period. The race uses a mass start and is managed from a Race HQ / base camp located at the start and lap point, where a water and aid station will be available.
Practical information
Parking is included in entry. A marshal will be positioned in the car park to assist with parking and to direct participants to Race Registration, where bib numbers are collected. Baggage can be left in a hut near the start at the owner’s risk. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. Organisers offer a bespoke event medal (with an alternative finisher medal option) and virtual entries for those who want the medal but cannot attend in person.
