Turkey Trot - Suffolk Running Centre, Bury St Edmunds
This is a six hour timed event held at Suffolk Running Centre where participants run as far as they can within the timed period. Runners complete laps of a measured loop and may continue on an additional lap if they have left the base camp before the end of the timed window.
The course uses the Back Quack route and is a 10.5 km loop with a mix of road and trail surfaces. The Race HQ and lap point are colocated at base camp where a water and aid station will be available. The event uses a mass start and marshals will be positioned around the venue and at the car park.
Event logistics include parking included with entry and a baggage area in a hut near the start left at the owners risk. The event operates cupless so participants should bring their own bottle or cup for refilling. Virtual spaces are available for those who want a finisher medal without attending in person.
Entry is open only to those aged 18 years and over. The event has a maximum of 300 entrants and entries close on 26 November 2026. Finishers receive a medal with options for a bespoke event medal or a lucky dip finisher medal.
